Something positive for a change!

The global slowdown that everyone is being warned of didnt seem very visable at Electronica a couple of weeks ago. The event was buzzing and the NEW team had a great week there, good meetings and positive feedback about 2009.

I also had some really encouraging news from one of our exhibitors yesterday in the EMSsector - 'after a few months of cautious customer orders we have just received two month's worth of forward orders in a week'

Perhaps it might not be so bad for B2B professional industries like ours!!

The crisis is real but the consequences are being potentialised by decisions which were not properly discussed or properly planned. Unfortunatelly, bad reactions became a cascade and forced other people to take other [not always good] last minute actions.

I am optimistic and I am quite sure that once people stabilise and restart taking wiser decisions the market will get back to normal.; ▶ Reply to This
